My Weeked (or what I ate at the fair)

DSC02950 Eli had a big eating weekend, most of it occurring in the last few hours at the Alameda County Fair. Our plan to hit the fair early in the morning to avoid crowds worked perfectly. We saw what seemed like thousands of 4H bunnies, chickens, geese, turkeys, pigs and even a peacock. Eli was obsessed with the bunnies, shoving his finger in the cages right below the "don't stick your fingers in the cages" sign (he appreciated the irony). DSC02941 DSC02953 DSC02955 After the petting zoo, some farm work, and a little tractoring it was time for the best part of the fair, the food: Started off with a snow cone: DSC02939 A nice corn dog for lunch... DSC02957 He begged for corn and then ate the cob clean: DSC02958 Frozen chocolate dipped banana as his starter desert: DSC02959 He then decided daddy's ice cream looked better: DSC02962 And finished off with some of Uncle Matt's cotton candy: DSC02964 All in all a good and exhausting day.
